Delete your data
Encore: Teleprompter & Video — by İsmail Karakaş
Encore does not use accounts. Your scripts, videos, practice statistics and settings are stored only on your device. Here is how to remove each kind of data.
1. Data on your device (scripts, videos, settings)
- Delete individual scripts in the app (swipe left on a script) and takes (Takes tab → ••• → Delete), or
- remove everything at once: Android Settings → Apps → Encore → Storage → Clear storage, or simply uninstall the app.
This data is deleted immediately and permanently. Videos you saved to your photo gallery must be deleted from the gallery.
2. Anonymous analytics data
The app sends anonymous usage events (random installation ID, event names, app version, language) to PostHog. To request deletion, open a deletion request (no personal information is required). We delete the related events within 30 days. Otherwise these events are deleted or aggregated automatically after at most 24 months.
3. Purchase records
Subscription status is managed by Google Play and RevenueCat using an anonymous ID. Include "purchase data" in your deletion request and we will delete the RevenueCat customer record within 30 days. Google Play keeps its own payment records under Google's policies; financial records may be retained where the law requires.
4. AI requests
Text you submit to AI features is processed to generate a result and is not stored by us, so there is nothing to delete.
