Terms of Use

Effective date: October 10, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Encore app. By downloading or using Encore you agree to them. If you downloaded Encore from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where they conflict, the Apple EULA prevails for iOS users.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Encore on devices you own or control, for lawful purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.

2. Encore PRO subscriptions

3. Your content

Scripts and recordings you create belong to you and are stored on your device. You are responsible for the content you create, record and share, and for having the rights to it.

4. AI features

AI-generated drafts are suggestions produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to content generated for others. Review and edit them before use. Do not use AI features to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content. We may limit AI usage to prevent abuse.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Encore to break the law, infringe others' rights, record people without the consent required by law, or interfere with the app or its services.

6. Disclaimer

Encore is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that recordings will never be lost — keep backups of important videos.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Encore. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Encore in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. You may stop using Encore at any time by deleting it.
